Why can't I segment customers without an email address?

There are some cases in which you may temporarily track customers into Vero without an email address or push token.

In Vero, standard segments won't filter for profiles without an email address or push token. Which means that customers that don't have either an email address or push token cannot be segmented.

The reasoning for this is because in Vero, segments are used to contact a customer. If they cannot be contacted, the idea is that they shouldn't be segmented. This is important when calculating estimates for messages prior to scheduling them up.
