# Channels overview

> Channels connect Vero to the providers that deliver your messages — email, SMS, and mobile push.

A channel in Vero describes the way a user receives a message and the configuration used to define how they're sent.

Vero 2.0 supports the following channels:

* **[Email](/vero-2/channels/email/how-to-configure-the-email-channel)** — Vero includes a built-in email provider so you can start sending straight away. You can also connect your own provider such as SendGrid, Mailgun, or Mailjet.
* **[SMS](/vero-2/channels/sms/how-to-configure-the-sms-channel)** — Connect a Twilio account to send text messages.
* **[Push](/vero-2/channels/push/how-to-configure-a-push-channel)** — Connect Amazon SNS or Twilio Notify to send iOS and Android push notifications.

Channels are managed on the **Channels** page. When building a campaign, you select which channel — and which provider — Vero should use to deliver the message.
